A lot of paladins ask what stat is the best for tanking? Truth be told, its stamnia. You do want to first focus on getting 540 defense so you can become uncritable from bosses. Once your at 540, start stacking stam!

Remember, 540 defense and stamnia are all you need to be a successful pally tank.

Stamina is always very useful no doubt about it. After getting the 540 cap remember you must get decent hit/exp otherwise all your seals will miss and you will not only lose the benifits of the seal but also lose Threat per second. Also paladins should have a high avoidence. Wars/Druids/DKS should always have more hp then us cuz we dont get the advantages that they do such as frost pres, a stam stick or bear form. Another thing you must look at is our avoidence with holy shield up palys should have almost 100% avoidence if not more. The worste hit we should take is a blocked hit, this makes us the most steady damage taker and the best tanking class. Wars druids and dks will get spike damage cuz their avoidence does not get as high as ours. So when DR sets in wars, dks and especially druids are at a huge disadvantage. Dont believe me ok take a boss hitting you at say 20k per hit. You dodge the first few after what the third fourth dodge you basically cant dodge bam druids take 2,3 or 4 20k hits in a row. DKs have dodge and parry as we all know parry's DR is retardedly fast so they get maybe another miss or two before they take spike dmg. Wars have it best BUT they must be hit to keep threat so their avoidence isnt as high as ours. Palys will dodge, when DR sets in they parry, when dr sets in we block like mad fk. So the question for stats is look at your gear. Is it better to have that extra 1k hp when getting hit for 20k vs avoiding 4% completly? So yes stack stamina be keep in mind your avoidence. Also remember that Block value is a high threat for us with rightouse shield and remember strength is what now gives us spell power not stamina.

for mac threat and midigation for pallys its strength but u get it from gear so dont try and look for that stat in pieces to decide whats better u look for the dodge parry block stam in it thats all
