I like dropping the first 5 in holy to get pursuit of justice in the ret tree. Being disarmed less and running a bit faster is helpful when tanking.

Dropping five points in holy is not required nor is it a good idea. You shouldnt be having threat problems if you know your class. As for pursuit of justice, no raid boss would disarm you BUT, the speed increase is insanley useful especially in fights like onyxia and TOC.

Not many tanks spec into reckoning. So here is some food for thought. With 5 full talent points in reckoning, I have 10% chance for 4 extra swings for 8 sec upon being hit or being hit. When you 4 adds on you, there is a better chance for it to kick in. When you have a Boss who hits with 2 weapons very fast it procs frequently. I would say it is up over 50% of the time for me. It pretty much stays up when i am tanking mobs of 3-4. When I am using my seal of light it has been an ass saver. healing me a few thousand HP with JoL in a short amount of time. It is however not as effective for slow hiting single targets. Dont take my word for it. I would like someone else to use there recount and let me know how theres does.

My tankadin is currently has a similar talent build with just a few modifications. I found that i could save 2 point in the prot tree by not specing divine guardian because 99.9% of the time all the mobs are on me and if they are not then i can use hand of reckoning or my righteous defense to get their attention back. I also reduced the amount of points i put into seals of the pure by three so i could pump then into heart of the crusader. By doing this i was able to put the two points i saved into vindication which i think is good to have because less attack power means less damage i take. If any of you have suggestions i would love to hear them. I have also been seeing a few tanks spec into seal of command, anyone know if that is any good for tanking?

Hey im new to the Site but something im going to try and go for and i got a Freind that is doing it and it has made his overall DPS unreal as a Tank......wnd it is getting his 2 set form his t9 and his 2 set from his t10 which in return gives you 25% more Damage from your Hammer of Righteous.But as For the Seal of Cammand i tried it and yes its amazing on 3 or 4 targets you will pull 8 to 10k Dps as a tank but i have found that putting those same points in Seal of the Pure and Reckoning i have done just as well i have been getting up to 6 to 8k Dps on 3 or 4 targets but what is better is my single Target Dps and we all know more attacks me more threat and more Aggro so just some Food for the thoughts....................

i really need help with my tank spec. my unbuffed hp is the same as someone the same spec but with 400 wow heroes gs points less than i have. i have decent gear, chantd all correctly, i think, and gemmed all stam. if someone could look me up and let me know what i am doing wrong?....ty

I have 64 into prot and 7 into ret. Its been fine for me. I have been told I am a descent tank I just want to better myself if possible. I have looked at the #1 tank on my server and some others. My GS is 5400 give or take and on wow-heros its 2916. My health unbuffed is 40744. I hold agro no problem. I main tank ICC. Help me plz.
